When I started over in 2010, I was intent on creating a life according to my specifications. I wanted to find that sweet spot of joyful quality of life, minimalism over material possessions, fully expressing myself and, most importantly, freedom to experience life from my perspective without any outside influences.
It’s incredible when we reach a point in our lives where just about everything has dulled, we’ve lost hope and we get completely and utterly stuck.
Can you relate? Have you been there? Are you there now?
I’ve had to sacrifice a lot along the way. However, if you’ve made sacrifices, you know how important, impactful and sometimes painfully necessary they are to get to where we want and need to be.
During my divorce, my therapist recommended a book entitled, ”I Could Do Anything If I Only Knew What It Was” by Barbara Sher.
Barbara’s book spoke to me. When I find an author that can relate and give me hope and guidance, it feels as if I won the lottery.
The exercises in the book changed my life, my outlook and my direction. For the first time in as long as I could remember, I felt hopeful, relieved and empowered.
And, I found a new passion! Organizing!
As an Organizing professional, I uncovered the emotional side of it.
It was like an onion: on the surface the clients needed organizing, but as I peeled back layer after layer, I gently unmasked clients’ patterns, habits and attachments. This resulted in allowing me to help them with deeper, more satisfying and longer-lasting results.
And for the last 2 years, I want you to know where I’ve been. Professionally, I’ve continued to help clients get organized, move and settling into new chapters of their lives. Personally, I’ve conquered cancer for the third time, dealt with a leaky gut diagnosis and healed a broken heart while finishing and publishing my first book Better for Being Broken along with re-branding with my business.
Sounds like a lot to go through in the last 2 years doesn’t it?
And, while I’ve only shared a quick highlight (there was so much more) of what’s been going on, this has given me a chance to discover more about myself and what I need as well as the common thread of need among my clients.
I’m passionate about helping people wake up in the morning and feel anything is possible.
By living with intention, discovering comfort, practicing balance and utilizing the tools I’ve placed in my toolkit, I’ve created a new life and a business that deeply resonates with me.
For almost 10 years, I’ve trained, researched, experienced and focused on getting to where I want to be and where I need to be. I’m still helping people get organized, move and transitioned in their next phase of life and I’ve expanded into helping people out of that stuck place they are in: midlife or a midlife crisis, a dead-end job, retirement with no future plans, empty-nest syndrome, identity crisis, divorce or death of a spouse or just making a move.
I want to let you know it is possible to change. All you have to do is make the decision you are ready to do something different so that you can feel better and increase your quality of life. All you have to do is take the first step just like I did.
I also hope you feel that this is a personal message just for you because it is. If what I’m saying feels like I’m speaking directly to you, I am.
I wish I would have been able to find someone just like me that had been through the difficult times I’d been through to help me navigate and map out a path. It would have made my journey so much easier knowing I had a helping hand, an advocate and a cheerleader to let me know everything is temporary and fixable.
And so, I’m reaching out my hand to help you…
I’m curious to know if you are stuck and why you continue to choose to live that way.
I’m curious to know if you are aware that help is out there.
I invite you to connect or reconnect with me and chat for a few minutes about what’s going on with you. I want to get to know you better and learn how I can help because that is what I love doing.
I’m curious to know if you are ready to make a choice to change your life so that you can wake up in the morning and feel anything is possible.
Looking forward to learning more,
P.S. If you know someone who is stuck, please forward this information to them!
